Our Story:
Wendy McAlpine
Wendy McAlpine has been a portrait photographer for almost thirty years and a filmmaker for the last five years.
She is an artist member of the Canada Council for the Arts as well as a member of Portrait Masters International.
Through both portrait photography and filmmaking, Wendy has been helping people tell their stories. While Lake City Pictures also does the occasional business profile, like for the Okanagan Pairing Challenge (Telus Optic), Wendy’s greatest joy is preserving the life stories and messages of community elders or younger folks with a story to tell.
Renee Braun
Renee Braun is a documentary filmmaker and editor. She has won international awards as an emerging director and editor for the feature documentary film, “When Life Hands You a Pandemic”.
She has specialized in interview style film making and also real estate film.
She is available for private contract for your business films, explainers or product demonstration films.
